What it asks a plumbing caller
Beyond the name, address and callback number it takes on every call, it asks:
- What is leaking, and is the water still running
- Whether the stop tap has been turned off
- Whether it is affecting a ceiling, a floor below, or anything electrical
- The property type — a flat above a shop is a different job to a semi
What it treats as urgent
flooding, a burst pipe, no water, a gas smell, sewage backing up — flagged immediately rather than dropped into tomorrow's calendar.
It asks whether the water is off at the stop tap before anything else, because that answer changes whether the job is tonight or Tuesday.
What it does on every call, whatever the trade

What it will not do
It does not make outbound calls. It does not dispatch, take payment, or commit you to anything beyond an appointment slot. It does not invent a price, a warranty, a certification or a review. If it does not know something it says somebody will call back, and takes the number.

Can it quote a call-out fee?
Only if you have given us one. If you have not, it says a plumber confirms the price on site. It will never invent a figure, and that rule cannot be switched off.
What happens if somebody rings about a job outside my area?
